Key Responsibility:
‒ Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
‒ Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency and quality in all products.
‒ Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes, ensuring proper ratios and techniques.
‒ Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed.
‒ Inspect finished products for quality, taste, and visual appeal, making adjustments as necessary.
‒ Ensure that all baked goods are fresh and meet the established quality standards.
‒ Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
‒ Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
Sanitation and Safety
‒ Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and cleanliness in the baking area.
‒ Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Collaboration and Communication
‒ Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely preparation of baked goods.
‒ Communicate effectively with management regarding production needs, inventory levels, and any issues that arise.
