We urgently need a Procurement QC Supervisor who has construction background experience.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Inspect and verify the quality of incoming materials and equipment against purchase orders, technical specs, and approved samples.

2. Coordinate third-party inspections and laboratory testing when required.

3. Maintain records of inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions.

4. Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality performance, certifications, and compliance history.

5. Conduct periodic supplier audits and performance reviews.

6. Ensure suppliers adhere to ISO, ASTM, SASO, or project-specific standards

7. Maintain up-to-date Material Inspection Reports (MIRs), Delivery Notes, and Quality Certificates.

8. Prepare NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on closure with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

9. Collaborate with Procurement and QA/QC teams to update Approved Vendor Lists (AVLs).

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.

– Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement quality control, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.

– Familiarity with international standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, SASO).

– Experience with ERP systems and digital inspection workflows is a plus

– Strong knowledge of material specifications and quality inspection techniques.

– Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

– Assertive and detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.

– Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

– Effective communicator across multicultural teams
