About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to manage sourcing, supplier evaluation, and procurement of technical materials and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background combined with solid procurement and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage procurement activities for engineering materials, equipment, and services.

Review and analyze technical specifications to ensure accurate procurement.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.

Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts in line with company policies.

Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams for project alignment.

Maintain records of purchased items, costs, deliveries, and performance data.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).

Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of supply chain management and vendor sourcing.

Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with TALLY

Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.

Certification in Supply Chain or Procurement (e.g., CIPS, PMP) is an advantage.
