Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for creating and developing mechanical designs, drawings, and 3D models using CAD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.

• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to convert concepts into manufacturable designs.

• Perform design calculations (strength, load, tolerance, etc.) and prepare technical documentation.

• Review and modify designs to improve functionality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

• Ensure designs comply with international standards, codes, and client requirements.

• Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to resolve design-related issues.

• Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and assist in procurement specifications.

• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback into final deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).

• Knowledge of mechanical design standards and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and fabrication techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design or drafting.

• Experience in designing Trailers, structural steel, cranes, Steel Fabrication (based on industry).

• Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools is a plus.
