About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Rebar Specialist) to join our team for the prestigious Jeddah Tower Project in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for rebar estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost control, ensuring accurate measurement and efficient material utilization for one of the world’s tallest and most iconic structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and verify rebar quantity take-offs from structural and shop drawings.

Develop and review BOQs, cost estimates, and rate analyses for reinforcement and concrete works.

Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams for accurate material reconciliation.

Monitor and control material consumption, wastage, and cost variations as per project requirements.

Prepare and maintain documentation, including bar bending schedules (BBS), progress reports, and cost tracking sheets.

Assist Project Managers in billing, subcontractor certification, and claim documentation.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and international QS standards.

Provide technical support to the site execution team on rebar detailing and measurement verification.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of rebar estimation, quantity surveying, and BBS preparation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and rebar estimation software (e.g., RebarCAD, Tekla Structures).

Excellent understanding of construction drawings, structural works, and EPC project processes.

Strong communication, analytical, and coordination skills.

Experience:

5 – 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor (Rebar) in high-rise or major infrastructure projects.

Previous experience in the Middle East (preferably Saudi Arabia) will be an added advantage.

Proven track record of managing rebar estimation and cost control on large-scale EPC or tower projects.
