Finance Manager – Lead
Location: Al Khobar
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager (Lead) to oversee and manage all financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, accounting, reporting, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. The Finance Manager will work closely with top management to support strategic decision-making and maintain strong financial health for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Budgeting
Develop and implement the company’s annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Monitor and analyze budget performance, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
Prepare financial models to support project bids, cost estimations, and business proposals.
Assist management in evaluating financial feasibility for new projects or investments.
2. Accounting and Financial Reporting
Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including payables, receivables, payroll, and general ledger management.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare management reports on profitability, expenses, and cost control.
3. Cash Flow and Treasury Management
Oversee company cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational and project requirements.
Manage bank accounts, monitor fund transfers, and handle LCs, LGs, and other financial instruments.
Optimize working capital through effective receivable and payable management.
Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for credit facilities and funding requirements.
4. Project Financial Control
Work closely with the Project Managers and Estimation Department to control project budgets and expenditures.
Review project costs, verify timesheets, and ensure accurate billing and invoicing as per contract milestones.
Maintain financial tracking systems for each project, including cost allocation and profitability analysis.
Support preparation and submission of monthly invoices and ensure timely payments from clients.
5. Compliance and Audit
Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, ZATCA (VAT, Withholding Tax, and Zakat) requirements.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Maintain up-to-date financial records and documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.
Ensure adherence to company financial policies, internal controls, and ethical practices.
6. Payroll and Employee Benefits Management
Oversee payroll preparation, ensuring accuracy in salary processing, allowances, deductions, and end-of-service benefits.
Verify manpower supplier invoices and ensure payment compliance with contractual agreements.
Manage employee advances, settlements, and other financial transactions accurately.
7. Procurement and Cost Control
Review and approve purchase requests, LPOs, and vendor payments in coordination with Procurement and Operations teams.
Analyze cost efficiency and negotiate better terms with suppliers and service providers.
Implement effective cost control systems to minimize wastage and maximize profitability.
8. Strategic Financial Management
Provide financial insights to management for strategic planning and decision-making.
Identify risks, financial trends, and opportunities to improve overall performance.
Participate in board meetings and management reviews, presenting financial summaries and forecasts.
Recommend improvements to enhance the company’s financial systems, controls, and reporting accuracy.
9. Team Leadership and Development
Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance staff to ensure high performance and accountability.
Provide training and guidance to improve departmental efficiency and knowledge.
Foster a collaborative and professional work environment aligned with company goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are a strong advantage.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
Strong knowledge of Saudi financial regulations, VAT, WHT, and Zakat.
Proficient in ERP/Accounting Software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Tally).
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
Valid and transferable Iqama is mandatory.
